Quebec Makes a Mark in Hollywood

This fall, 65 artists and designers from the Canadian province of Quebec came to Los Angeles to present a unique program that would highlight their strength, innovation, and creativity.

Events throughout the month included a film festival at the Egyptian Theatre, live music, a stand-up comedy evening, a fashion show at the Hollywood & Highland Center, gourmet meals prepared by chefs from Quebec, a design symposium and an exhibition of contemporary art, among others.

One of the most stunning was a performance of Cirque du Soleil’s “IRIS: A Journey Through the World of Cinema,” playing now at the Kodak Theatre. The show puts audiences in awe, bringing together dance, acrobatics, live video, filmed sequences and animation, in a visually-captivating performance.
