Adventures in Wales

| December 16, 2011 | Comments (1)

Wales quite simply captivated me on a recent trip there. I was amazed and exhilarated by all the adventure, beauty, and serenity the country has to offer. My coverage of the story was split up into three parts, each highlighting a different region of the country, activities to do, and places to stay:

Part One:

  • Conwy & Conwy Castle
  • Nant Gwrtheyrn
  • Welsh language
  • Abersoch Sailing
  • Welsh Highland Steam Railway
  • Portmeirion
  • Castle Dining

Part Two:

  • Coed-y-Brenin & Snowdonia National Park
  • Mountain Biking
  • Castell-y-Bere
  • Staylittle Mountain Pass
  • The Yurt Farm & Organic Farming

Part Three:

  • Coastal Wales (recently given the number one spot on Lonely Planet’s guide to the top 10 regions to visit in 2012)
  • Pembrokeshire
  • St. David’s
  • Coasteering
  • St. Ann’s Head Lighthouse
  • Cardiff & Cardiff Castle
  • Whitewater Rafting

And for a little video taste of the adventure:
